To complete Level 1 you must complete all courses with a (Level 1) next to the title, totaling 24 hours of CE. Tax Prep courses are not required. Listed below are the courses available.

Each webinar has a recorded lecture, a PowerPoint presentation, a course description, instructor biography, and downloadable materials. Click the Thumbnails button in the upper left of the webinar to view these features. You can also switch the PowerPoint presentation and the lecture by clicking the double arrow button between them.
Webinars vary in length from 1-3 hours and can be viewed multiple times. These online self-study courses are designed to work within your own busy schedule. The webinar will even save your spot if you have to leave in the middle.
Level 1 Online is designed to let you learn at your own pace. You can get through the classes within a week or you can take your time and complete them over a few months. Once you have purchased a webinar, you can access it as long and as many times as you like so there’s no need to rush.
Level 1 is a prerequisite for Level 2 and the levels must be taken in order. Level 2 is available in person only and continues to be an extremely popular program that often reaches capacity before the registration deadline. Therefore, Level 1 must be fully completed prior to registration.
Each webinar has a test in order to complete the course and earn your CEs. There are 10 questions per CE hour. All questions must be answered to complete the test. A 70% is required for passing. After completing and passing a test, a Certificate of Completion will be emailed to you as proof of completion.
If you do not pass on the first attempt, you will have the opportunity to immediately re-take the test. You may also choose to watch or listen to the webinar again before you re-test. In addition, you might want to read the printed materials. You do not have a purchase the webinar again in order to re-take your test.
Printed materials are located within the webinar. Simply click the Thumbnails button in the upper left and select Documents. There you will find the links to the PDFs of your printable materials. They can be printed right from your screen.
Yes! Our webinars are always adapting to today’s changing world in order to keep you as up to date as possible. Each webinar is registered with the IRS and has an individual program number. IRS Program numbers are shown when you click on a course you would like to take. You may also find them in the course descriptions.
Each webinar cost differs depending on how many CEs can be earned. For members, the cost is $28 per CE hour or for non-members, $32 per CE Hour. Simply click on the course you wish to take and it will display additional information including pricing, the IRS Program number for the course, and the course description.
CE tokens are an NAEA member benefit. Purchase a set number of tokens, 8 or 16, and use them to pay for the webinar at a discount, instead of individually paying for each class. Webinars are 2 tokens per CE hour (i.e. 4 CE hour course = 8 tokens). Tokens may also be used for the EA Journal tests. Tokens are non-refundable and non-transferable.
